A World So Serene - A Poem
The soft piercing air of sweet divine bliss
Fills our veins of pumping passion of life
Laying on the forest floor, our lips kiss
As our souls dance without a single strife.
Soothed by the Heavens above bark columns,
She reads me her melodic poem of love
As I listen to the songs of robins
And we shed tears; pure like a dreamy dove.
As we embrace, the red Phoenix rises
And naked truth turns to soothing safety
So we can lay to rest our old guises
And us both grow anew like a lily.
If this is all but a magical dream,
I will not wake from a world so serene,
